Grains rebounded nicely, finishing far from the lows set right after the report was released
The USDA did not tiptoe around increasing yields this year at all
USDA increased corn yield to 175.1 bu/ac from 168 bu/ac last month
They increased feed 175 million bushels and exports 125 million, resulting in 2.409 billion bu. Carryout
USDA increased soybean yield to 48.9 bu/ac from 46.7 bu/ac in July
They reduced beginning stocks by 95 million bushels, increased crush 15 million, and exports by 30 mil.
This resulted in a 40 million bushel increase in carryout to 330 million bushels
World corn carryout was increased to 220.81 million tons vs. 208.39 million in July
This even after lowering Brazilian production by 8.5 million tons
World soybean carryout was increased to 71.24 million tons vs. 67.1 million last month
