Mixed markets with equities and crude trading a bit higher; corn, beans and wheat lower.

Grains have turned bearish as Informa raises US corn and bean production equal to USDA.

Informa data bearish with corn yield of 168.8 and equal to USDA production and yield.

Informa also released bearish bean numbers with a 47 bpa yield and production @ 3.924 bb.

Informa raises world beans (Brazil), raises wheat (EU and Russia), lowers corn (EU and ARG).

Wheat pressured as European values drop 3.6% today, large harvest / lack of storage.

So much for the talk that US wheat was fairly priced vs. world competition…

Equities are higher for the 2nd day as the negative China news subsides due to holiday.

Export demand continues @ a snail’s pace for corn @ just 4.4 mb and 12.9 new crop.

Old crop bean sales net cancellation of 2.2 mb, new crop large @ 56.2 mb; wheat 10.2 mb.

The dollar was sharply higher, approaching a 3-wk high in what has been extremely volatile trade.

Weather models are showing much cooler temps in the 6-10 and 8-14 day forecasts

Still unsure of whether it will pose any early freeze risk, however
